Description
This 1:72 scale diecast model represents the carrier-capable F-35C Lightning II assigned to VX-9 “Vampires” of the U.S. Navy, coded XE-105. Aircraft 168842 (MSN CF-11) first flew in December 2013 and was delivered to the Navy in March 2014. It initially served with VFA-101 “The Grim Reapers” as NJ-104.
In November 2016, it was reassigned to VX-9 at Edwards AFB, California, where it became part of the Joint Operational Test Team. The Edwards unit operates six F-35Cs alongside 130 personnel who conduct rigorous operational flight testing.
Diecast construction with authentic details. Model comes pre-assembled with accessories and ready to display.
