Description

This 1:48 scale diecast model represents the P-51B Mustang flown by Lt. Leonard R. Reeves of the 530th Fighter Squadron, 311th Fighter Group, based in Pungchacheng, China, during 1944–1945. Aircraft 42-106908 is believed to have been his personal plane, famously named “My Dallas Darlin’.” In January 1945, Lt. Reeves flew two missions to Peking; during the second, 2106908 sustained serious damage and was later replaced.

Diecast construction with authentic details. Model comes pre-assembled with accessories and ready to display.

Condition

The model is in good condition with the drawbacks being some surface marks on the topside of the wings, just in front of the antenna and some to the underside wing.

The box is in near mint condition with some light shelf wear.
