Description

This 1:72 diecast model of Spitfire Mk. Vb EP210 represents one of the first Supermarine Spitfires delivered to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease program. Manufactured at Castle Bromwich in June 1942, EP210 passed through RAF maintenance units before being shipped overseas. On October 23, 1942, it was loaded onto the Bandar Shapure, arriving in the USSR on January 11, 1943. It became one of 150 Spitfire Mk. Vbs sent to support Soviet air forces on the Eastern Front.

These Spitfires, though British in origin, would go on to serve in some of the harshest conditions of the war—playing a role in bolstering Soviet fighter strength during a critical phase of the conflict.

This model comes prebuilt and includes display accessories and a stand, offering collectors a rare look at RAF-Soviet cooperation through a unique Eastern Front Spitfire.
