Description

This 1:72 scale diecast model depicts the Handley Page Halifax B.Mk VII PN230, famously known as "Vicky the Vicious Virgin." Operated by the RCAF No.408 "Goose" Squadron out of RAF Linton-on-Ouse in 1945, this aircraft featured some of the most intricate nose art of the war, designed by bomb aimer Bert ‘Scratch’ Evans. Under the command of pilot Ron Craven, this specific heavy bomber successfully completed 21 missions over occupied Europe.
