Marked for D-Day, June 6th 1944, this Hawker Typhoon Mk I represents RAF No.245 (Northern Rhodesian) Squadron from RAF Holmesley, England, wearing the distinctive invasion stripes used over Normandy. The Typhoon’s wartime role was hard-hitting low-level strike, attacking transport and ground targets to support troops as the landings unfolded.

Model Condition - Very Good (7/10)
- The model has had a repair to the horizontal stabiliser section, which is the only defect on the aircraft itself, the rest of the model is in pristine condition. Due to this and the fact it is relatively noticeable, the model has been graded very good.
- The undercarriage accessory pin has a detached pin which is stuck within the slot on the aircraft. It will still fit in place but may need additional support for long term display.
Box condition - Very Good (7/10)
- There is a mark to the side of the front cover, general wear to the edges and bulging on the sides of the front cover piece.
