This Short Sunderland Mk III represents RAAF No.461 Squadron aircraft EJ134 over the Bay of Biscay on June 2nd 1943. Linked to one of the flying boat’s most famous combat actions, it captures a heavily armed maritime patrol aircraft in the thick of anti-submarine war over the Atlantic approaches.
