This Boeing CH-47A Chinook represents a US Army prototype trials aircraft from 1961. Finished in a distinctive white and orange high-visibility scheme, it captures the Chinook at the very start of its long service life, before the type became one of the most recognisable heavy-lift helicopters in military aviation.
