Description
This Convair F-106A Delta Dart represents USAF 177th FIG, 119th FIS NJ ANG aircraft 59-0043 “The Spirit of Atlantic City” at Atlantic City ANGB, NJ in 1988. With its high-visibility orange tail and wing panels, it captures the sharp late-service look of one of the USAF’s most distinctive delta-wing interceptors.
A striking addition to any Cold War jet collection, especially for displays focused on Air National Guard aircraft and colourful unit-marked interceptors. Ideal for display and for collectors who enjoy lesser-seen USAF subjects with strong regional identity.

Model Condition - Excellent (8/10)
The model is presented in excellent overall condition. However, there are small sections of paint bubbling, primarily located on the fuselage. This characteristic is quite common among this variant of models.
On the side of the nose, there is a very minor teardrop mark, which has been highlighted in red for reference. The pilot figure was originally glued in place, resulting in some paint loss in the centre of the cockpit seat. Despite these issues, the model is being offered complete.
Box condition - Excellent (8/10)
The box accompanying the model is in excellent condition, exhibiting only light levels of shelf wear. Additionally, the plastic tray inside has developed cracks at the blister push-in points.
