Hobby Master HA3502 1:72 CF-18 Hornet 188769 425 Sqn No Fly Zone Libya 2011

Preowned - Good (6/10)

Description

This McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet represents CAF No.425 (Alouettes) Squadron aircraft 188769, carrying the “No Fly Zone” title for operations over Libya during Operation Mobile in 2011. The scheme ties this Hornet to a clearly defined modern combat deployment, giving it a strong operational identity beyond a standard line jet finish.

A great fit for a modern RCAF collection, especially alongside other coalition-era fast jets. Ideal for display and for collectors who prefer aircraft linked to specific operations, units and individual airframes.

Condition

Model Condition - Good (6/10)

The model will still display nicely and has been placed in the pre-loved section mainly due to a missing accessory and the need for some repair to the underside missile.

  • One pave way bomb accessory is missing.
  • The front cockpit section is dusty inside.
  • One missile has been glued to the underside of the fuselage and has been damaged from being pressed into the plastic. To replace this, a new missile would be needed with a new pin and a way to pull the old snapped pin out of the socket on the aircraft. Please also note that some paint has been removed due to the glue being present.
  • Light handling marks to the underside.

Box condition - Very Good (7/10)

  • Some crease lines are present on the front cover edge, next to the title.
  • Minor wear to the edges.

Photographed under studio lighting to highlight even the smallest imperfections. Buy with confidence, what you see is exactly what you get.

Any imperfections are shown in the images and description. Refer to the grading tab for more details. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
