Limited Edition
348 of 1000
Pieces Worldwide

Condition

This 1:72 diecast model of the Westland Puma HC.1 celebrates one of the most enduring and versatile helicopters in Royal Air Force service. Entering RAF service in 1971, the Puma HC.1 marked a significant leap in capability over the Belvedere and Whirlwind helicopters it replaced. Designed for the tactical movement of troops, equipment, and supplies, the Puma has proven itself as a reliable battlefield workhorse in both combat and humanitarian roles.

Capable of carrying 16 fully equipped troops or up to two tonnes of freight (internally or underslung), the Puma can also operate in search and rescue and casualty evacuation missions. Its flexibility has made it a critical asset in multiple theatres of operation, including both Gulf Wars, where it further cemented its reputation for rugged performance and reliability. With an upgrade programme extending the type’s service life, the Puma continues to serve as a core component of the RAF’s support helicopter fleet more than four decades after its introduction.

This model comes prebuilt and includes display accessories and a stand, making it an essential piece for collectors of modern British military aviation and rotary-wing aircraft.
