Condition

This 1:72 scale diecast model represents the De Havilland Vampire FB.Mk 9 of No. 28 Squadron, Royal Air Force, as flown in late 1955. The FB.Mk 9 was the final single-seat variant of the Vampire line—an upgraded, air-conditioned version of the earlier FB.Mk 5.

 

A total of 1,900 FB.Mk 5/9 Vampires were produced by the end of 1953. Despite being retired from RAF frontline service, many continued flying for decades, with some in Swiss service as late as 1990.

 

Diecast construction with authentic details. Model comes pre-assembled with accessories and ready to display.
