A jaw-dropping, high-visibility showcase of Eastern European airpower design. This highly detailed 1:72 scale diecast model by Hobby Master (HA6513) replicates the Mikoyan MiG-29A/AS Fulcrum (#6829), operating with the 1st Letka (1st Squadron) of the Slovak Air Force. Originally manufactured in late 1994, this specific airframe was delivered to Sliac Air Base in January 1995. In 2002, the fighter received a magnificent, meticulously painted "Slovak Tiger" special anniversary scheme to serve as the air force's official solo air show demonstrator. It performed spectacularly at the 5th Slovak International Air Display in June 2002, captivating crowds with the MiG-29's legendary thrust-to-weight agility. Tragically, later that same year in November, this gorgeous aircraft was lost in a mid-air collision during a night training exercise.
