This 1:72 scale diecast model represents Su-25M1 “Frogfoot” Blue 06 of the Ukrainian Air Force, assigned to the 299th Aviation Brigade at Kulbakino Air Base. On July 2, 2014, during operations in Eastern Ukraine, Blue 06 crashed near Dnipro Airport after a sortie, with the pilot successfully ejecting. The aircraft was believed to have been brought down by ground fire, though the official cause was listed as “technical difficulties.”
Aircraft MSN 10121, c/n 25508110121, was the first Su-25 to feature the distinctive digital camouflage “pixel” paint scheme.
Diecast construction with authentic details. Model comes pre-assembled with accessories and ready to display.
