Description
Corgi US33813 is a detailed 1:72 scale diecast representation of the Republic P-47D Thunderbolt, finished as White 22, 302nd Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group, Italy, 1944.
The 302nd Fighter Squadron formed part of the 332nd Fighter Group, whose African-American pilots became known as the Tuskegee Airmen. From Italy the group escorted bombers and attacked tactical targets while overcoming discrimination as well as enemy opposition.
The P-47 was one of the largest and most powerful single-engined fighters of the war. Its turbocharged radial engine gave strong high-altitude performance, while its rugged construction and eight machine guns made it equally effective in escort and ground-attack roles.

- Comes complete. The certificate number sticker has worn off, so the individual edition number is unknown.

- Only slight wear to the side.

- Noticeable wear, small chips or rubs, but still presentable as a display piece.
Good (6/10)
- Obvious overall wear, visible marks or paint loss; better suited as a display or filler piece.
Fair (5/10)
- Heavy wear, larger areas of paint loss, repairs or clearly visible flaws.
Spares / Repairs (4/10 or below)
- Significant damage, missing attached parts, broken components or best suited for restoration/spares.
If a separate accessory, stand, leaflet, certificate or optional part is missing, this will be mentioned in the listing notes. The model may still receive a high grade if the model itself remains in strong condition.
