Corgi Aviation Archive 1:72 AA33304 B-17E "Yankee Doodle" 414 Squadron

Preowned - Good (6/10)

Description

Corgi Aviation Archive AA33304 depicts the Boeing B-17E Flying Fortress in USAAF 7th BG / 414th BS markings as “Yankee Doodle”, based at RAF Grafton Underwood, England in September 1942. What makes this one distinctive is the early-war E-model context noted in the reference, including the period where Fortresses wore RAF-style camouflage while flying with USAAF units, tying the scheme to a very specific point in the 1942 daylight bombing campaign.

A standout early USAAF heavy bomber for display, ideal if you want a large 1:72 shelf presence with a named aircraft and period-correct 1942 markings.
