This McDonnell Douglas F-4K Phantom FG.Mk 1 represents RNFAA No.892 NAS aircraft XT864 aboard HMS Ark Royal in November 1978. Finished in classic Royal Navy markings, it captures one of the most iconic carrier-based Phantoms of British naval aviation in its final frontline era.

A standout addition to any Fleet Air Arm or Cold War jet collection, especially for displays focused on Ark Royal and Royal Navy carrier operations. Ideal for display and for collectors who enjoy landmark British Phantoms with strong unit and ship identity.

Model Condition - Near Mint (9/10)

The model has a factory defect on the wing which is a line of raised paint (as circled and annotated in the pictures).

Box condition - Good (6/10)

The box is structurally sound but does have a small perforation on the front cover, creasing and wear.
The plastic inner tray has cracking where the aircraft's nose sits above.

- Very light signs of handling, storage or display only.

Excellent (8/10)
- Light wear or a few tiny marks, but still displays very well.

Very Good (7/10)
- Noticeable wear, small chips or rubs, but still presentable as a display piece.

Good (6/10)
- Obvious overall wear, visible marks or paint loss; better suited as a display or filler piece.

Fair (5/10)
- Heavy wear, larger areas of paint loss, repairs or clearly visible flaws.

Spares / Repairs (4/10 or below)
- Significant damage, missing attached parts, broken components or best suited for restoration/spares.
