This Curtiss P-40E Warhawk represents a USAAF 343rd Fighter Group aircraft of the 11th FS Aleutian Tigers in the Aleutian Islands during 1943. The tiger artwork on the nose gives this Warhawk a strong squadron identity, tying it to one of the more distinctive Pacific-area P-40 schemes.
