Corgi Aviation Archive 1:72 Consolidated B-24D Liberator 'Strawberry Bitch' 376th BG 1943 AA34003

Limited Edition
2700
Pieces Worldwide

Condition

'Strawberry Bitch' was one of the most iconic B-24 Liberators in the Mediterranean Theatre, finished in a distinctive desert pink camouflage used in North Africa during 1942–43. It famously survived the intense Ploesti Raid of August 1943, a daring mission targeting German oil refineries. Despite heavy losses—43 aircraft lost and 532 airmen killed—the raid dealt a significant blow to the German war effort. 'Strawberry Bitch' stands as a symbol of the bravery and sacrifice of that operation.
