Description
A striking 1:72 scale diecast representation of Messerschmitt Me 262A-1a “Red 13”, flown by Oberstleutnant Heinz Bär with III./EJG 2 at Lechfeld, Germany, in 1945. Corgi AA35703 recreates an aircraft associated with one of the Luftwaffe’s most experienced fighter and jet aces.
The Me 262 was the world’s first operational jet-powered combat aircraft. Its exceptional speed made it a dangerous opponent for Allied fighters, although fuel shortages, maintenance demands and the rapidly deteriorating German position limited its overall wartime impact.
Bär repeatedly used the number 13 on his aircraft, making this late-war “Red 13” especially recognisable. Limited to 2,960 pieces worldwide, the release combines an important pilot, pioneering aircraft and distinctive camouflage scheme.

- Obvious overall wear, visible marks or paint loss; better suited as a display or filler piece.
Fair (5/10)
- Heavy wear, larger areas of paint loss, repairs or clearly visible flaws.
Spares / Repairs (4/10 or below)
- Significant damage, missing attached parts, broken components or best suited for restoration/spares.
