Built in 1940 by Canadian Car & Foundry, Hurricane Z7015 was later converted to Sea Hurricane 1b standard for Royal Navy convoy protection. After a brief wartime career, it became a training airframe, then joined the Shuttleworth Collection in 1961. Restored over decades, it flew again in 1995 as the world’s only airworthy Sea Hurricane 1b, painted in No.880 Squadron colours from HMS Indomitable. Though registered as G-BKTH, it does not display the civilian markings.
