This 1:48 scale diecast release represents the familiar Emil variant in the markings of JG 26 “Schlageter”.

During 1940, JG 26 operated from France in the air campaign against Britain. Its fighter pilots flew escort and fighter missions across the Channel, with Galland taking command of the unit in August that year.

The aircraft represented here belongs to the period immediately after the Battle of Britain. Its markings connect the model with Galland's command of JG 26, making it a recognisable subject for a collection focused on the Luftwaffe's early-war fighters.

Fact Sheet

Brand: Hobby Master

Series: Air Power

Model code: HA8715

Aircraft: Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4

Werknummer: 5819

Pilot: Adolf Galland

Unit: Jagdgeschwader 26 “Schlageter”

Location: France

Date/Period: December 1940

Operator / Country: Luftwaffe / Germany

Role: Single-seat fighter

Scale: 1:48

Material: Diecast metal with plastic components

Model Dimensions

Length: Approximately 7.5 inches / 19.1 cm

Wingspan: Approximately 8.25 inches / 21 cm

Condition

Model Condition - Excellent (8/10)

Tail surfaces: Small mark on the topside of the horizontal stabiliser, with further marks on the undersides of the horizontal stabilisers.

Underside: Marks around the centre of the fuselage where the display stand makes contact.

Completeness: Comes complete.

Box Condition - Excellent (8/10)

Small tear at the back of the box where the tab extends; otherwise excellent overall.

Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.

The model will be securely packaged for dispatch.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0773/4640/6704/files/hobby-master-ha8715-148-bf-109e-4-wnr5819-adolf-galland-jg-26-france-dec-1940-7617364.jpg?v=1792756052
https://www.thecollectablesvault.com/products/hobby-master-ha8715-1-48-bf-109e-4-w-nr-5819-adolf-galland-jg-26-france-dec-1940
