Its crews were tasked with gathering detailed imagery and intelligence in support of NATO operations, using the Phantom's speed, range and low-level performance to operate across a wide geographical area.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAircraft 35+67 entered service with AufklG 52 and remained associated with the unit throughout much of its German career.
