This 1:72 scale diecast release belongs to Corgi's Predators series and its Defining Missions theme.

Yorktown's Dauntless crews played a decisive role at Midway. On 4 June, the carrier's dive-bombers attacked Soryu, while aircraft from the American carrier force also struck Akagi and Kaga. Later attacks against Hiryu helped remove the remaining Japanese carrier threat.

The Dauntless carried a pilot and rear gunner, with perforated dive brakes helping control its descent towards a target.
