This 1:72 scale diecast model represents the Junkers Ju 88C-6 heavy fighter operated by 4./Zerstörerstaffel, KG 76 during the 1942–43 winter campaign near Taganrog, Ukraine. Introduced in early 1942, the C-6 was a dedicated fighter variant of the Ju 88 A-4 bomber, with 257 produced that year.
Designed for bomber escort and ground attack roles, the Ju 88C-6 was deployed by Zerstörer squadrons and armed with combinations of MG 17 machine guns, MG151 or MG-FFM cannons—proving highly effective in both day and night operations. To mislead Soviet fighters, 4./ZG 76 painted false bomber noses on their Ju 88s to mimic standard bombers and mask their interceptor role.
Diecast construction with authentic details. Model comes pre-assembled with accessories and ready to display.
