Its modified B-29 aircraft were prepared for highly specialised missions during the final stages of the Pacific War.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn 6th August 1945, Enola Gay carried the atomic bomb “Little Boy” to Hiroshima.
